Linux Engineer

We’re Hiring: Linux Engineer

Location: Karachi

We’re looking for a skilled Linux Engineer experienced in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, Ansible, Containerization, and Automation to support enterprise deployments and deliver world-class technical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Linux deployments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift Virtualization, Containerization, Ansible, and Red Hat Satellite.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support for customer Linux environments.
• Lead implementations and POCs for Linux/Unix environments, virtualization, Kubernetes, OpenShift, DevOps, and software-defined storage.
• Conduct product demonstrations, create technical documentation, and deliver presentations.
• Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with technical and sales teams for project planning, implementation, and risk management.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and complete required training and certifications.
• Guide and mentor peer engineers as a subject matter expert (SME).

Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with multiple Linux distributions (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, etc.).
• Strong understanding of containerization, virtualization, patch management, and DevOps environments.
• Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Red Hat Satellite.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-demand environments.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• RHCSA & RHCE certifications are mandatory.
• AIX Certified System Administrator is a plus.
