Literature Teacher, Secondary School
Design and implement learning or teaching situations within the framework of the French National Education programmes
Imparting disciplinary knowledge and skills
Design and implement methods for assessing student learning
Ensure a personalized follow-up of the students in connection with the families and participate in their orientation project (parent/teacher meetings, reception of parents by appointment if necessary)
Description: The LBFI ICE is an international bilingual institution, where the teaching of Humanities follows the curriculum of the French Ministry of National Education.
Qualifications:
Baccalaureate level diploma + 3 minimum required in Classics or Modern Literature
Certificate of Aptitude for Teaching Teaching, or equivalent qualification (MEF)
Experience:
Teaching experience (College/Lyc e)
Experiment in a French lyc e abroad highly desired
Knowledge of the education system and the programs of the French National Education required.
Language(s): Proficiency in English given the bilingual setting of the school.
Responsibilities:
Teaching Literature in several levels of secondary school
Prepare and deliver courses in accordance with French curricula
Comply with the recommendations of the KHDA
Developing a communicative approach to students
Regularly evaluate the progress of students and practice a positive evaluation
Fill out the digital textbook and the transcript very regularly
Preparing students for the French national exams
Participate in educational consultation meetings
Participate in the development of teaching materials
To be a force for proposing innovative pedagogical projects
Implement the institution's policy and implement the decisions of the various authorities of the institution.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a supportive and supportive learning environment, sharing best practices and contributing to the overall success of the institution
Stay informed of advances in the field of education, participate in workshops and actively engage in professional development opportunities in order to continuously improve pedagogical skills.
Effective classroom management, open communication with parents, use of different teaching practices, including different instruction.
Skills required:

Knowing how to work in a team
A good experience of the pedagogical uses of digital technology (TUIC)
Good presentation and perfect mastery of the French language required.
