Litigation Associate

TULLOS & BECKETT

Tullos & Beckett seeks an associate family litigation attorney to join its busy and expanding firm. Tullos & Beckett handles criminal defense, family law, and corporation business matters.

Responsibilities will include:

• Family law case assignments
• Direct representation of clients through all stages of the litigation process
• Courtroom advocacy
• Drafting of pleadings, trial memoranda, judgments
• Consulting with and hiring potential clients

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor
• Member of the Oregon State Bar
• Demonstrable oral advocacy and courtroom experience (internships and law school clinics qualify, preference will be given for those with family law, criminal defense, or criminal prosecution trial experience)
• Strong initiative, ability to self-manage, and independently manage a caseload
• Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with coworkers
• Competent understanding of the Oregon Evidence Code
• Fluent in Office suite and Adobe Acrobat software

Compensation:

• $70k annual salary or 50% of the associate’s monthly collected revenue, whichever is greater. Revenue will be calculated on a quarterly basis.
• It is anticipated that the associate will earn at least $100k in their first 12 months employment
• 100% of employee cost for health insurance covered under firm’s group plan

• Tullos & Beckett will pay for all professional memberships associated with the position, including Oregon State Bar dues and PLF
• Tullos & Beckett will pay for professional development / CLE credits
