Trueline's client , a reputable law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their team. This role involves conducting legal research, drafting key litigation documents, and assisting in court proceedings—offering excellent professional growth in a dynamic, case-focused setting.

What You'll Do as the Litigation Associate:

  • Conduct detailed legal research using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis

  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation materials

  • Help prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials

  • Partner with senior attorneys to develop case strategies

  • Manage communications with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff

  • Assist in negotiating case resolutions when appropriate

  • Maintain organized, accurate case files

  • Stay current on relevant legal developments and procedural updates

Must Haves as the Litigation Associate:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Admission to the relevant state bar

  • Skilled in legal research and analytical strategies

  • Strong writing and drafting abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Organized with sharp attention to detail

Nice to Haves as the Litigation Associate:

  • Prior litigation experience in a law firm setting

  • Familiarity with civil procedure and the rules of evidence

  • Ability to manage discovery and trial preparation independently

  • Exposure to depositions, hearings, or trials

  • Strong teamwork and capacity to support case workflow proactively
