Job Title: Litigation Associate

Job Location: Hackensack, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: Full-time

Position Overview

A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience to join its New Jersey litigation practice. This position involves handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters for a diverse client base across state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and substantive briefs
• Manage discovery, including document production, depositions, and e-discovery issues
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues
• Assist with hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case management
• Maintain direct client contact and manage day-to-day aspects of litigation matters
  
  

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• 3+ years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience
• Active membership in the New Jersey Bar (required)
• Experience litigating in New Jersey state and federal courts
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
