About the Firm

This global law firm operates across major financial and business centers worldwide and is known for advising leading corporations, financial institutions, and multinational organizations on their most complex legal challenges. With a deeply integrated international platform, the firm emphasizes collaboration across offices, cross-border teamwork, and a culture that values excellence, curiosity, and creative problem-solving.

About the Practice

The firm’s commercial litigation group represents clients in disputes at every stage, pre-litigation counseling, trial, appeals, regulatory matters, and arbitration. The team handles sophisticated, multijurisdictional matters involving major industries such as technology, consumer products, financial services, and global manufacturing. Known for its strategic approach and ability to navigate complex cross-border issues, the group offers attorneys exposure to bet-the-company cases, high-stakes investigations, and significant courtroom advocacy opportunities.

The Opportunity

The Los Angeles office is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing litigation team. The role involves handling a wide range of sophisticated matters, including business torts, class actions, regulatory inquiries, and arbitration-related disputes. Associates in this group take on meaningful responsibility early, leading research and drafting, helping shape discovery strategy, preparing witnesses, working directly with clients, and contributing to trial preparation.

You’ll work on leanly staffed, high-impact matters with direct partner access and the support of a global litigation platform. The firm seeks someone who is proactive, intellectually engaged, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a collaborative team dynamic.

Qualifications

  • Background in commercial or complex civil litigation
  • Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset
  • Admission to the California Bar or ability to obtain it

Compensation & Benefits

The firm offers competitive, market-based compensation, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing professional development through mentorship, training, and exposure to cross-border litigation work.
