Litigation Legal Secretary

Sanders & Parks is a litigation firm with a strong focus on insurance defense. As our practice grows, we are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our team.

Position Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Secretary with strong litigation support experience, able to manage complex calendaring, filings, and attorney support with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• File documents electronically with state and federal courts (including e-filing via CM/ECF and state systems)
• Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and schedule depositions, court appearances, and meetings
• Maintain and organize case files, including medical records and discovery materials
• Coordinate communication with clients, medical experts, and court personnel
• Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys, including time entry and billing assistance

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a litigation firm (medical malpractice defense strongly preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and filing procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Knowledge of accounting software such as PerfectLaw and document management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
