Litigation Paralegal

Our law firm is looking for a litigation paralegal:

• Required: Paralegal degree and/or two years of law firm litigation experience in medical malpractice or personal injury.
• Lives in NW Houston area.
• Professional appearance and communication at all times.
• Attention to detail.
• Solid multi-tasking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Strong typing and computer skills (Office & Adobe Acrobat).
• Strong client service skills, including compassion and empathy.
• Ability to both follow instructions and think independently.
• Personable on phone interaction with clients and attorneys. Some intake responsibilities.
• Proficient on computer, internet, required software, and e-mail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented work environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated understanding of the litigation process from intake to resolution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
