Paralegal Position – Personal Injury Law Firm

Indianapolis, Indiana

Are you a highly detail-oriented and organized professional looking to join a dynamic personal injury law firm in Indianapolis? We're seeking a dedicated Paralegal to support our legal team in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including essential scheduling and calendaring to keep our cases running smoothly. Your meticulous approach will be vital in managing important deadlines and appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, client meetings, and other appointments.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files.
• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from initial intake to trial preparation.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably within a personal injury or litigation setting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in scheduling and calendaring software/systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Westlaw (legal research database).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and/or billing statements is highly preferred.
