Our culture is built on integrity, compassion, accountability, and excellence, and we are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to play a key role on our personal injury litigation team.
This paralegal will work directly on the firm’s personal injury litigation cases, supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation—from initial disclosures to trial preparation and resolution.
Responsibilities
- Case Management & Communication
- Manage Florida personal injury cases through all litigation phases.
- Maintain organized client files and track deadlines in case management software and other cloud-based tools.
- Communicate extensively with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and the courts—always with professionalism and empathy.
- Drafting & Filing
- Draft and prepare complaints, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, arbitration and mediation statements, and civil remedies notices.
- File and serve documents in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with procedural rules.
- Prepare pre-trial exchange documents, dismissal notices, and skeletons of oppositions or replies under attorney direction.
- Discovery & Trial Prep
- Handle initial disclosures, discovery requests/responses, and manage all discovery deadlines.
- Order, review, and analyze medical records and bills for health lien requests.
- Assist with scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness prep materials; attend trial to support attorneys as needed.
- Research & Investigation
- Conduct legal research, gather evidence, and collaborate with investigators, experts, and medical providers.
- Monitor and follow up on non-party production documents and logs.
Qualifications
- Education & Credentials:
- Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred—or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in Florida personal injury law (auto accidents, slip/trip & fall, negligent security).
- Proven case management expertise, including drafting and filing complaints, handling discovery, and preparing for trial.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), OneDrive, and cloud-based practice management software (Clio or Filevine experience a plus).
- Working knowledge of Florida automobile insurance, Rules of Civil Procedure, Statutes, and E-filing systems (state and federal).

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
