At the center of this home is a bright, curious 9-year-old with Autism Spectrum Disorder who loves animals, the outdoors, and people who show up for him with patience and positivity. He's being home-schooled and thriving — and the right person will help him go even further.

THE ROLE

This is a 24/5 live-in position. You'll be fully embedded in the household — supporting the child's daily routine, keeping the home running smoothly, and being an on-call presence overnight when needed. When the family travels, you travel too. It's a big commitment, and the compensation reflects that.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Childcare & Education

• Be a consistent, trusted presence in the child's daily homeschooling routine
• Support learning activities, creative play, and personal development
• Prepare simple, child-friendly meals (noodles, nuggets, fries are his favorites)
• Join outdoor adventures — swimming, playgrounds, boating, farm and zoo visits
• Encourage independence, confidence, and growth through positive reinforcement

Travel & Family Support

• Travel with the family whenever needed — domestic trips, outings, and overnight stays
• Ensure the child's comfort, routine, and safety are maintained while away from home
• Be a flexible, dependable presence that adapts seamlessly to changing environments

Household Management

• Prepare meals for the entire household (your meals are fully included)
• Keep the home thoroughly clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times
• Handle all laundry — washing, drying, folding, and putting away
• Manage grocery lists, pantry stock, and household errands
• Stay on top of schedules, appointments, and household to-do lists
• Coordinate with therapists and external service providers

Pet Care

• Feed, water, and provide daily care for all household pets
• Walk and spend time with the dog regularly
• Clean and maintain enclosures for the pigeon, parakeets, and tortoise
• Show genuine affection and responsibility toward all animals in the home

SCHEDULE

• 24/5 live-in arrangement — two fixed days off per week
• Day shifts up to 10 hours, with paid and unpaid breaks included
• On-call overnight — available if needed, not a full shift
• Travel with the family as needed
• Live-in accommodation and all meals fully provided

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Genuinely passionate about working with children with special needs
• Calm, patient, warm, and emotionally steady
• Organized, reliable, and committed to long-term work
• Comfortable with all household duties including cleaning, laundry, and pet care
• Experienced with children or individuals with disabilities (preferred)
• Comfortable traveling with the family when required
• Physically active and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or GED
• Ready to be a stable, long-term presence in a child's life

PAY & BENEFITS

• Up to $27/hour based on experience
• Flat weekly payout: $1,320/week ($5,280/month)
