LLP - Planning Specialist

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Management Engineer, Automotive Engineer
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Advanced level of English

Job Description:
  • Playing key role in managing supply chain process between suppliers and Ford Otosan,
  • Working in coordination with Ford Otosan and Ford Europe related departments in order to supply the materials used in Ford Otosan manufacturing from domestic / foreign suppliers
  • Creating action plans for import suppliers with capacity constraints with Ford Europe and Ford Global. Managing material allocation for Ford Otosan factories until the constraint is resolved.
  • Identifying supplier related problems that may cause supply disruptions, creating action plans and measures, ensuring coordination with relevant departments
  • Analyzing the risk in Tier 1 suppliers and sub-suppliers affected by a regional or global risks, to create plans to eliminate supply disruptions between Tier 1 and Tier N
  • Monitoring the anticipated suppliers risks situation, to plan and implement preventive measures against these risks in line with the company strategies
  • In case of temporary production increase or production mix changes, communicating with suppliers and creating and following joint action plans with the relevant departments and suppliers
  • Communicating with suppliers who are reported to have a chronic balance to ship by Material Logistics, closely following up with the suppliers until the problem is solved, minimizing the effect of the balance on production, coordinating with the relevant departments
  • Preventing supplier related production losses, and to follow up with BD if production loss is in place
  • Creating Emergency Action Plans in critical suppliers during periods such as Christmas / Shutdown due to regional and periodic differences
