Job Description

In this role, the incumbent is required to:

1. LMS Administration & Operations

· Manage Moodle (or equivalent) setup, roles, courses, updates

· Oversee daily operations of the Learning Management System including setup, configuration, updates, and user management.

· Create, upload, and manage academic content, assessments, user accounts, permissions, and roles.

· Ensure system stability, uptime, and operational efficiency.

2. System Customization & Optimization

· Customize LMS modules, dashboards, templates, and workflows to align with TMUC’s academic needs.

· Integrate LMS with other institutional systems (ERP, attendance, grading modules, etc.).

· Continuously improve system performance and recommend technical enhancements.

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

· Serve as the first point of contact for LMS-related technical issues for faculty, students, and staff.

· Diagnose and resolve system errors, login issues, course access problems, and performance glitches.

· Coordinate with IT, vendors, or support teams for escalated issues.

4. Training and User Support

· Train users: create help guides, run onboarding sessions

· Conduct training sessions and workshops for faculty, students, and administrative users.

· Develop user guides, FAQs, and support materials to enhance digital literacy and LMS usage.

· Promote standardization and best practices in LMS engagement.

5. Academic Support & Quality Assurance

· Support academic departments with course setup, assessment workflows, grading configurations, and learning analytics.

· Ensure data accuracy, record-keeping, and compliance with academic quality standards.

· Provide reporting and analytics to support academic decision-making.

6. Policy, Compliance & Data Security

· Maintain system security, data privacy, and compliance with institutional policies.

· Ensure proper role-based access, secure data handling, and backup procedures.

· Enforce LMS usage protocols across campuses.

7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

· Stay updated with emerging educational technologies and LMS advancements.

· Recommend and implement improvements to enhance user experience and academic delivery.

· Support digital learning initiatives and institutional transformation projects.

8. Lead/ manage MiTE ODL’s LMS and IT requirements (end-to-end)

· 99.9% uptime

· 90% ticket resolution within 24 hrs

· 100% courses on LMS

· 95% training satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
