Job Description:
The LMS & Program Specialist
is a hybrid role that combines LMS management with training program operations. This position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end LMS processes, including course setup and publishing, learner enrollment, reporting, and maintaining the platform’s back-end functionality. In addition, the role supports the delivery and operations of Talent Development certification programs by managing program logistics, scheduling, participant communications, and serving as a key point of contact for learner inquiries. Working closely with the Talent Development team, this role ensures both the technology and program operations run smoothly to create a seamless learner experience.
Key Responsibilities:
LMS Platform Management & Coordination:

Automation & Enrollments: Create and manage automation for certifications and workflows, ensuring each user’s journey progresses without delays. Manage cohort enrollments into certifications. Manage and update all courses in the LMS.

Handle User Queries: Respond to and resolve user queries related to course access, enrollment, certifications, and account issues.

Reporting: Generate and maintain reports on learner progress, certification status, and platform engagement; use data insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement across learning programs.

Cohort Management: Receive, tag, and assign course content to users, coordinating with cross-functional teams for individual cases.

Collaboration & Communication: Partner with the training and marketplace teams to resolve issues, manage certifications, deletions, suspensions, and other account-related tasks. Work with the engineering and product team on any back-end implementation, updates or enhancements.
Program Management & Coordination:

Training Program Management: Plan, schedule, and organize training sessions as needed. Track attendance, completion, and feedback for all training programs.Enroll participants, assign courses, and troubleshoot user issues.

Communication & Support: Act as the main point of contact for talent training schedules and requirements, managing email queries. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure certifications are scheduled, complete, and easily accessible. Send communications on behalf of Talent Development including, internal or external reminders, and follow-ups etc.

Collaboration: Any administrative tasks needed to support the Talent Development Content and Operations team. Work with facilitators on any customized requests for Talent from customers. Support instructional designers are maintaining and managing all certification assets.
Cross-functional Tasks:

Vendor Coordination: Maintain communications with external providers for content and platform-related needs.

Platform Oversight: Support content maintenance and platform health checks; flag technical issues for resolution.

Candidate Management: Filter and manage prospective candidates for cohorts and certifications, improving the applicant filtering process.

Content Optimization: Update and improve user experiences on LMS.

Planning & Optimization: Participate in planning and optimizing courses, certifications, and processes for Edge Edu, ensuring smooth operations.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

3 - 5 years of experience in LMS implementation & management, experience supporting a training or L&D team in a coordinator capacity, bonus: experience with instructional design, e-learning development, and learning experience design

Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for learning or support automation.

Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), especially LearnWorlds, including course publishing, user enrollment, cohort management, and platform optimization.

Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with workflow automation, tagging systems, and digital asset management to streamline cohort enrollments and learning pathways.

Familiarity with data-driven learning optimization, including user experience feedback and basic learning analytics to improve course effectiveness.

Prior experience with cloud backup systems and documentation processes to ensure version control and content integrity.

Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills; able to troubleshoot LMS or platform issues and partner with external vendors when needed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into accessible learning experiences.

Experience working in start-ups or high-growth organizations is a plus, especially in roles requiring process building, tool selection, or operational scale-up.

Self-starter with a learner-first mindset, collaborative spirit, and strong sense of ownership over course quality and learner outcomes.

Bonus: Proven expertise in building multi-media digital learning content using tools such as Articulate Rise360, Canva, and Google Workspace Suite, with a strong eye for visual design and user engagement.

Bonus: Deep understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and content development workflows, including content planning, stakeholder review, and iteration.
