Responsibilities of Caregivers, PCA and LNA
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and toileting
- Provide assistance with eating, meal preparation, and dining assistance
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment
- complete, personalized weekly schedules and care plans
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
- Provide medication reminders and monitoring
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Provide companionship and engaging conversation
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work both independently and with a team of healthcare professionals
- A desire to serve seniors and adults with physical and mental impairments
- A friendly, organized, and professional demeanor
- A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
- Willingness to participate in a criminal background check and drug screening
- Experience with dementia care and hospice care is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients of all ages
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
