Job Summary:

The Loading and Unloading Worker is responsible for efficiently and safely handling incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes loading goods onto trucks or containers and unloading them upon arrival. The role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets manually or using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Ensure goods are stacked, secured, and arranged properly to prevent damage during transport.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing items for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors.
• Sort, label, and organize products by destination or category.
• Maintain accurate records of items loaded/unloaded and complete relevant documentation.
• Follow all workplace safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep the loading/unloading area clean and free of hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more) repeatedly.
• Basic reading and math skills for inventory tracking.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks) is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,200.00 per month
