Role Overview

First Continental Investment Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Loan Closer / Loan Operations Specialist – Real Estate Lending to manage the closing of complex, residential lot acquisition and development loans. This role oversees the full closing process, coordinates due diligence, and works closely with borrowers, attorneys, and title companies to ensure loan documentation accurately reflects approved credit terms along with some administrative duties.

The position requires a strong commercial real estate knowledge and the ability to manage multiple closings concurrently. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Houston.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage loan closings from credit approval through funding for complex real estate transactions.
• Coordinate and review all pre-closing due diligence, review documents for accuracy and finalize loan and collateral documents.
• Serve as primary point of contact for borrowers, outside counsel and title companies.
• Manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Ensure complete and organized closing files in accordance with internal standards.
• Miscellaneous loan administrative duties.

Required Experience

• Strong working knowledge of real estate transactions and loan documentation.
• Experience with construction loans, lot development or acquisition financing.
• Background in real estate title, escrow, commercial lending or development finance.
• Prior experience in a law firm, paralegal or title company supporting real estate closings is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and sound professional judgment.

• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
