Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Local Content Specialist
to drive the company’s local content initiatives. The role focuses on developing and managing local supplier engagement, ensuring compliance with local content regulations, and enhancing the company’s local procurement footprint. Procurement activities will support the achievement of local content objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives to identify, evaluate, and onboard
local suppliers
to strengthen the local supply base.

Monitor and ensure
compliance with local content regulations, policies, and contractual obligations
.

Maintain accurate records of
local content metrics
and fulfill reporting requirements.

Collaborate with project teams to
integrate local content objectives
into sourcing and procurement strategies.

Conduct research and analysis on
local market capabilities, supplier performance, and opportunities for local sourcing
.

Prepare reports and presentations on
local content performance
for management and regulatory submissions.

Support
supplier engagement, capacity building, and development programs
to enhance local industry participation.

Act as a
liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
on local content matters.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in
local content management, procurement, or supply chain
.

Strong knowledge of
local content regulations, policies, and reporting requirements
.

Excellent
analytical, research, and reporting
skills.

Effective
communication and stakeholder management
abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with procurement systems is a plus.
