Procurement Officer

Job Summary:
As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing vendors, and ensuring timely procurement of materials to meet organizational needs.

Job Responsibility:
1. Source vendors and negotiate contracts for goods and services.
2. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain good relationships with vendors.
3. Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
4. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with other departments to forecast procurement needs.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as industry regulations.
6. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient procurement strategies.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar procurement role.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office suite.
5. Knowledge of supply chain management best practices.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
