Field Operations
- Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with the fire equipment in his area. Follow the instructions of the Shift Supervisor and CCR Operator.
- Familiar with plant P&IDs, SOPs, Work instructions, basic control logics as well as the emergency operation procedures and any other related documents.
- Monitor all parameters at local and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the logbook.
- Inspect the area and auxiliaries during the shift to make sure that all equipment parameters are within limits. Report abnormalities to the CCR Operator/ Shift Supervisor.
- Perform equipment change over according to pre-set schedules. Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment.
- Coordinate with CCR Operator/Shift Supervisor for isolating and lining up the equipment and system before and after maintenance. Maintain a tidy housekeeping in the work area and ensure clean up after maintenance work.
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Assist in the training and familiarization of new operators.
- Report near misses and implement prescribed risk controls.

- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Skills
- Knowledge of relevant plant equipment and field operations
- Extensive experience as local operator in any of the following type of Water Desalination Plants like RO, MSF, MED Plants.
- Awareness of HSE & quality standards
- Knowledge of all relevant plant processes and equipment
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste.
- Knowledge of firefighting equipment s.
- Teamwork and effective collaboration skills Embraces Innovation
- Demonstrates Integrity and Respect
- Should be well conversed with RO Water Plant operational activities.
- Good Communication Skills
