We are an intermodal drayage company that specializes in efficient port-to-door transportation services.

Looking for a CDL Class A driver to travel to ports for container delivery/pickup. Deliveries will then be made at our customer sites. Driver MUST have a valid CDL Class A & Medical Card with a validTWIC Card. If you already have a Sealink Card that is great. Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are appreciated, but not required.

Our company is looking to give drivers the compensation they deserve.

This position is Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour +

Responsibilities

• Pre-Trip and Post Trip inspections of the vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
• Meet pickup/delivery schedules
• Comply with truck/port driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect/verify delivery and delivery instructions
• Communicate with dispatch about any issues or delays
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Minimum two years experience as a truck driver (tractor trailers, etc)
• Experience delivering/picking up at the ports preferred but not required. Will train.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Valid CDL A truck driving license
• Valid TWIC Card
• Valid Sealink Card Required
