Position Overview


The Local SEO Specialist will manage SEO strategies for small to mid-sized service businesses across the U.S. This role focuses on improving local visibility, rankings, and lead generation through Google Business Profile optimization, on-page SEO, and localized content development.


You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager, CSMs, and Web Designer to execute SEO plans that align with client goals and deliver measurable results.


Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution


Conduct keyword research focused on local intent and service-based industries.


Create SEO strategies for each client that target high-value keywords and drive qualified leads.


Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBPs) for visibility in local map results.


Implement on-page SEO — titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.


Perform site audits and provide recommendations for technical SEO improvements.


Content & Page Optimization


Work with the Web Designer or CSMs to build or optimize 4 pages per month per client (as part of ongoing SEO packages).


Ensure optimized content includes localized keywords, engaging copy, and clear CTAs.


Identify opportunities for new service area or city pages based on keyword trends.


Performance Tracking & Reporting


Track keyword rankings, GBP metrics, and lead generation data.


Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and BrightLocal/Whitespark (or similar).


Report performance insights to the Marketing Manager and assist CSMs with client updates.


Collaboration


Coordinate with CSMs for updates, reviews, and content approvals.


Work with Carlos (Tech/Integrations) to confirm tracking setup and GA4 conversions.


Collaborate with the Google Ads and Meta Ads teams to maintain alignment between SEO and paid campaigns.


Qualifications


2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred).


Proven success in Local SEO — especially for service-based or home-service businesses.


Working knowledge of Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, and Search Console.


Experience with WordPress and Elementor is highly preferred.


Basic understanding of how SEO ties into Google Ads, Meta Ads, and web design.


Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client accounts.

Compensation & Benefits


Salary Range: $70,000–$8,000/month (based on experience)
