Logistic and Sourcing Manager - Family Tea Business - Dubai

Role Overview:

The Logistics & Sourcing Manager will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring all client requirements and project deliverables are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong managerial, organizational, and negotiation skills to ensure seamless coordination between suppliers, logistics partners, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all logistics and sourcing activities, from procurement to final delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project-specific requirements and translate them into actionable logistics and sourcing plans.
• Ensure all project checklists, documentation, and compliance standards are met prior to execution and delivery.
• Oversee inventory control, warehousing, and transportation to ensure optimal efficiency and cost management.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships; evaluate vendors for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, including shipment timelines, costs, and productivity.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, shipping documents, and transaction records with accuracy and transparency.
• Conduct regular market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
• Provide weekly updates on deliveries, project status, and key logistics milestones.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics operations and enhance overall service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in a project-based environment).
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance, documentation, and import/export regulations.
• Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
