- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the entire process, from acquiring goods to delivering them to the final destination.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure products are available when needed.
- Transportation Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate the shipment of goods, managing transportation modes and carriers.
- Supplier & Carrier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze logistics costs, negotiate freight rates, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenditures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Track logistics performance metrics, monitor deliveries, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise in the logistics process, from loading to delivery.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Ensure all shipping and logistics-related documents are accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.
