POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate would be responsible for managing the efficient flow of aircraft parts, components, and materials to support maintenance and repair operations. This role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with local, state, and aviation regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of aircraft parts, components, and materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Work closely with procurement, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.

Respond to inquiries from internal departments regarding shipment status and inventory availability.

Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and couriers, negotiating rates and ensuring optimal routes. Prepare and process shipping documentation, including air waybills, packing lists, invoices, and Customs forms.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including FAA, EASA, and other aviation authorities.

Ensure strict adherence to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Ensure all import and export regulations are followed. Handle dangerous goods shipments in accordance with DOT and IATA regulations.

Assist in resolving delivery delays or logistics issues affecting operation schedules / TAT.

Maintain accurate records of all shipments and transactions.

Support audits and quality inspections related to logistics and materials handling.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce turnaround time. And assist with other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required

International Trade Certifications a plus
Requirements:
Experience:
-
Logistics experience required – 1-3 years.
-
Administrative experience – 3-5 years.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Strong knowledge of logistics processes and aviation regulations.

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
-
Proficiency in using databased software. Quantum experience is a plus.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Skilled in verbal and written communication

Must have excellent follow-up and organizational skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to evaluate procedures, able to handle unforeseen issues and propose adequate improvements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic to advanced knowledge of Aircraft Engine Maintenance preferred

Ability to use the engine manual, illustrated parts catalog and Service Bulletins
Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements

Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.

Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required

Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
