Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the efficient transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. The role ensures timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
- Arrange transportation, shipments, and deliveries with suppliers and transport providers.
- Track orders and ensure on-time delivery to clients or outlets.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and documentation.
- Prepare shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, customs documents).
- Liaise with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams.
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and transportation regulations.
- Monitor logistics costs and suggest improvements for efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
