Transport Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Transport Coordinator / Fleet Manager to oversee daily fleet operations, driver coordination, and transportation scheduling. The role focuses on ensuring efficient vehicle utilization, safety compliance, and smooth transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily transport schedules and vehicle assignments
• Coordinate dispatch of drivers and vehicles as per operational needs
• Monitor vehicle usage, availability, and performance
• Supervise driver attendance, routes, and compliance with safety procedures
• Track vehicles using GPS and fleet management systems
• Oversee fuel consumption, mileage, and operational efficiency
• Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs
• Maintain vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, inspections)
• Ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet reports
• Monitor transport costs and identify cost-saving opportunities

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field (preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in transport or fleet coordination
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of fleet management systems and GPS tracking
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Valid driving license
