Licensed Customs Clearance Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process import and export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
  • Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and clearing agents for shipment clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with local customs regulations and international trade laws.
  • Track and monitor shipments and resolve any customs clearance delays or issues.
  • Classify goods using HS codes and calculate duties and taxes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customs documentation and transactions.
  • Communicate shipment status and documentation requirements with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure all shipments are cleared on time to avoid demurrage or penalties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years' experience in customs clearance, logistics, or freight forwarding.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and shipping procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR1.00 - QAR2.00 per month

Work Location: In person
