Logistics Coordinator

Established freight company looking for the next person to help us grow!

Duties:
- Communicating with drivers to meet customers pick up and delivery needs.

- Do what it takes to get the job done

- Resolve customer/vendor complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.

- Must be able to multi-task and handle very high volume inbound and outbound calls.

- Data entry

- Submit rate contracts and present company materials to vendors.

- Handle fast paced environment, time sensitive, high priority tasks.

- Continuous communication with drivers, dispatchers and customers on shipment details.

- Provide directions, specific delivery instructions and manage changes in scheduling

- Make scheduled check calls to make sure drivers are where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be there.

Qualifications
- Must be computer efficient and understand the basic functions of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Logistics experience is preferred

- Ability to quickly and accurately solve problems

- Self-starter with multi-tasking ability and strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to develop creative solutions to problems
