Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented Logistics Coordinator to support the efficient movement of shipments within our logistics and supply chain operations. The role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders, reviewing and validating shipping documentation, monitoring shipment progress, and resolving operational issues.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical ability, Excel proficiency, and excellent communication skills, enabling them to manage documentation accuracy, support operational reporting, and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders (shippers, agents, transporters, freight forwarders, and clients) to ensure timely and accurate shipment movement.
• Manage end-to-end shipment operations, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving delays and operational issues.
• Review and validate shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting using CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Analyze operational data to support reporting and improve logistics performance.
• Escalate issues and ensure effective communication with internal teams, partners, and clients.
• Support daily logistics operations, including documentation management and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, shipping operations, or supply chain roles, ideally within trade finance, commodity trading, or international logistics environments.
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, invoices,
• packing lists, and delivery documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reporting, basic analysis) and familiarity with CRM or logistics management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
