Job Summary

LD Distribution Qatar is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation, delivery schedules, and supply chain coordination. The role ensures smooth movement of goods from warehouse to clients while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery performance.

Logistics coordinators are responsible for coordinating shipments, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient distribution of goods across supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations and delivery schedules
• Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and suppliers
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Maintain logistics records, delivery notes, and reports
• Monitor inventory movement and update system records
• Resolve delivery delays, discrepancies, or transport issues
• Optimize routes and delivery efficiency to reduce costs
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery status
• Support warehouse and procurement coordination

Logistics coordinators typically oversee supply chain activities such as transportation, inventory flow, and distribution to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in distribution or FMCG/logistics companies
• Familiarity with ERP or logistics tracking systems
• Knowledge of Qatar logistics or transport operations
• Experience handling delivery scheduling and fleet coordination
