Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator at Tech Cargo, you will play a vital role in the successful operations of your assigned clients. You will be responsible for managing the entire logistics process from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire shipment lifecycle:

• Schedule, dispatch, plan, track, and trace shipments.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Coordinate freight claims, provide rate quotes and analysis, and monitor carrier quality standards.
• Identify and resolve potential shipping delays or issues, implementing corrective action plans as needed.

Provide exceptional customer service:

• Communicate effectively with clients and carriers to schedule shipment activities.
• Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery to all parties.

Manage documentation and compliance:

• Prepare and review all necessary documentation for domestic and international shipments, ensuring accuracy.
• Track and resolve shipping errors.
• Receive and review bills.
• Create and send invoices to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry laws, regulations, and requirements.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of international trade and logistics principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Magaya is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service focus with a problem-solving mindset.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
• Fluent in Spanish and English
