Logistics (Equipment) Officer

CMA CGM, Turkey - an agency 100% owned by CMA-CGM Group, is staffed with knowledgeable and motivated industry professionals who work closely with its customers to provide them with the best possible service and high-quality transport of their cargo. As a result of expanding our organization, we are currently looking for Logistics (Equipment) Officer to join our fast growing and challenging organization.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage stock optimization and equipment flows to support commercial activities of a determined geographical area with a cost-oriented approach.
• Consolidate and provide reports for equipment forecasts & availability; organize empty repositioning
• Control & follow-up of container tracking performance
• Track & monitor containers’ idle empty status
• Manage on-time, proactive, and accurate communication flow with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to support process improvement activities

Skills and Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in Logistics Management
• Experience in the field of shipping & logistics is a plus
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Very good in follow-up
• Customer oriented
• Self-motivated and dedicated to work
• Result-oriented
• Strong in planning and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
