Role Overview
The Logistics Executive cum Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the Distribution Center (DC). The role requires hands-on supervision of manpower, vehicles, and material movement, ensuring timely dispatches, accurate documentation, compliance with company SOPs, and smooth coordination between clients, drivers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Supervision
- Monitor and supervise inbound & outbound logistics activities.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments as per client SLAs.
- Allocate work to loaders, drivers, and support staff on shift basis.
- Monitor fleet availability (own + vendor vehicles) and escalate shortages proactively.
2. Inventory & Documentation
- Maintain stock records, goods inward/outward registers, and shipment trackers.
- Verify LR, invoices, e-way bills, challans, and POD collection.
- Ensure accurate MIS reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to HO.
3. Manpower Handling
- Supervise and guide a team of loaders, delivery associates, and drivers.
- Track attendance, overtime, and shift allocation of DC manpower.
- Coordinate with HR/Payroll team for attendance & compliance inputs.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety guidelines, and compliance norms.
- Maintain proper records for audits (PF, ESI, vehicle compliance, DC safety registers).
- Conduct regular checks on vehicles, licenses, and staff ID/Uniform compliance.
5. Client & Vendor Coordination
- Act as the on-ground point of contact for clients regarding dispatch status, escalations, and issues.
- Coordinate with vendors/transporters for timely vehicle placement and documentation.
- Resolve operational challenges on-ground in real time.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations.
- Basic understanding of GST, e-way bills, and transport documentation.
- Good Excel/MS Office skills for reporting.
- Ability to manage manpower with fairness and discipline.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts if required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Logistics / Supply Chain / Commerce (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics / distribution center operations.
- Experience in supervising teams (drivers, loaders, associates).
- Knowledge of last mile / line haul operations will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
