Job Summary

The Logistics Executive is responsible for end-to-end coordination of air, sea, and land shipments, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods across borders and within the GCC. The role works closely with freight forwarders, transport partners, warehouses, inventory teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth clearance, accurate receiving, and availability of products for store operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage Air, Sea, and Land shipments, including ETA/ETD updates and transit milestone tracking.
• Track real-time movement of cross-border GCC land shipments, including temperature-controlled shipments where required.
• Monitor border clearance checkpoints and proactively follow up to minimize delays.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, trucking partners, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Follow up on shipment discrepancies including short landing, damages, and delivery variances, and maintain corrective action logs.
• Coordinate with inventory officers and PRO teams to ensure completion of the goods receiving process, customs clearance, and product availability for store orders.
• Update shipment status regularly and maintain accurate logistics and delivery reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, food safety requirements, and regulatory standards during transportation and storage.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and supply chain operations.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in logistics within the Retail and Food & Beverage industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written); Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong coordination skills.
• Flexible and committed, with a willingness to go the extra mile when required.
