LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY:

A Logistics Executive oversees the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring goods are transported, stored, and delivered efficiently. They coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely bookings, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance, while optimizing costs for time-critical or high-value.

KEY RESPOLSIBILITIES:

• Plan and monitor shipments ( air) to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, and clearing agents to expedite cargo movement.
• Shipment Coordination: Book air cargo space, manage routing, and track shipments from origin to final destination to ensure on-time delivery.
• Documentation & Customs: Prepare and verify critical shipping documents such as Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, and packing lists. Coordinate with local customs authorities for fast clearance.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate constantly with airlines, and internal supply chain teams to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Cost & Vendor Management: Negotiate freight rates with airlines and service providers to balance speed requirements with cost efficiency.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in air freight operations, express shipping, or a freight forwarding environment.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with regional customs procedures (e.g., UAE customs, Free Zones, or international Incoterms).
• Skills: Strong proficiency with ERP systems, cargo tracking tools, and digital supply chain platforms.
• MUST HAVE SHIPPING EXPERIENCE FROM CHINA TO US, UAE TO US, UK TO US, PAKISTAN TO US.
