Logistics Finance Analyst

Biespresso is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Mesaieed. This role will be crucial in analyzing and managing the financial performance of logistics operations, including cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics finance, excellent analytical abilities, and an understanding of how logistics impacts overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze logistics costs, including transportation, warehousing, and supply chain expenses
• Prepare and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring accuracy in forecasting and cost control
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency and cost reduction
• Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial statements related to logistics activities
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to assess and report financial performance
• Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs while maintaining service quality
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to logistics and transportation operations
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting logistics performance and trends
• Assist in internal audits by providing necessary financial data and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and relevant regulations in logistics finance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in logistics finance, supply chain finance, or cost accounting
• Strong understanding of logistics operations, cost drivers, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (experience with ERP systems is a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain finance roles
• Familiarity with logistics management software and ERP systems
• Knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
