The Mandate

Farid Consult Logistics is seeking a highly analytical Logistics Consultant to join our strategic advisory team in West Bay. In this role, you will act as a key partner to our corporate clients, identifying inefficiencies within their global and regional supply chains and designing data-driven solutions to optimize performance. This is an opportunity for a consultant who can combine theoretical logistics models with the practical realities of the GCC market.

Strategic Advisory & Optimization

• Supply Chain Audit: Conduct comprehensive assessments of client logistics operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities and bottlenecks in procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
• Process Engineering: Design and implement lean logistics frameworks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational agility and reduce lead times.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Advise clients on 3PL/4PL selection and lead contract negotiations to ensure maximum service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend digital supply chain solutions, including WMS, TMS, and blockchain-based tracking systems, to improve end-to-end visibility.

Professional Profile

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics consulting.
• Strong background in data modeling, statistical analysis, and project management (Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus).
• Proven ability to present complex technical findings to executive-level stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Qatar’s import/export regulations and regional trade corridors.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
