Job Purpose:
Analyze suppliers’ capabilities in local and international procurement operations and assess the supply chain to ensure readiness for implementing relief and cross-border projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Evaluate suppliers’ procurement plans and supply chains, both locally and internationally.

Analyze sourcing, transportation, storage, and shipping processes up to the delivery destination.

Review cross-border risks in relief projects.
-
Assess contracts and materials with logistical nature (relief items, food, equipment).

Verify suppliers’ ability to meet delivery deadlines, especially in emergencies.

Provide a comprehensive logistical technical opinion to support decision-making within the technical committee.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management; additional qualifications in Project Management or Humanitarian Supply Chain are preferred.

Minimum of three years of practical experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in humanitarian or emergency contexts.

Advanced knowledge of international shipping, customs, warehouse management, and humanitarian supply chains.

Familiarity with preparing budgets, reports, and logistical analyses to support decision-making.

Proficiency in supply chain management systems (ERP) or shipment tracking tools.

CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport)

Advanced courses in supply chain and logistics management.

Strong skills in assessing logistical risks and preparing contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.

Ability to coordinate with technical and administrative teams to align procurement plans with project requirements.

Proficiency in Arabic and English is a must
