Logistics Coordinator - Job Description

A Logistics Coordinator manages the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. The job is mainly office-based but closely connected with warehouses and transport teams.

Main Responsibilities

Typical duties include:

• Coordinate and track shipments (import/export, delivery schedules)
• Plan transportation (trucks, shipping, air freight)
• Communicate with suppliers, drivers, and customers
• Manage inventory and warehouse stock levels
• Prepare documents (invoices, delivery notes, customs papers)
• Monitor delivery timelines and solve delays/issues
• Negotiate with transport companies for pricing
• Keep records of all logistics activities

In simple words:
You make sure goods move smoothly, on time, and at the lowest cost.

Skills Required

• Good communication (English is important in Qatar)
• Computer skills (Excel, ERP/SAP systems)
• Organization & multitasking
