Logistics Head / Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations (inbound and outbound)
  • Manage transportation, distribution, and delivery planning
  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished goods
  • Supervise warehouse operations (storage, handling, dispatch)
  • Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory systems
  • Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages, overstocking, and expiry
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials to production
  • Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Track and analyze logistics KPIs (delivery time, accuracy, costs)
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain proper storage conditions for FMCG products
  • Manage logistics vendors, transporters, and third-party service providers
  • Negotiate contracts and manage service-level agreements
  • Oversee fleet management (if applicable)
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain and logistics risks
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, train, and manage logistics and warehouse teams

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 8–15 years of experience in logistics, preferably FMCG/manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations

Experience:

  • logistics: 7 years (Preferred)
