Key Responsibilities:
- Storage Management:
- Oversee and manage the inventory in the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Implement and enforce proper storage procedures and practices to prevent damage and loss.
- Dispatch Operations:
- Coordinate and manage the dispatch of goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare and manage dispatch documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Liaise with transportation providers to arrange efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Import Processes:
- Oversee the import process for goods from China, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
- Prepare and manage import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth customs clearance.
- Customs Duties and Government Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and government laws related to import duties and taxes.
- Keep updated with changes in customs regulations and implement necessary changes in the import process.
- Resolve any issues related to customs clearance and import duties.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities and transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, dispatch performance, and logistics costs.
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with company policies and government regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, transportation providers, and customs officials.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, and store management, preferably with experience in import processes from China.
- Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and logistics management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
