LOGISTICS INTERN (DISTRIBUTION)
As a Logistics Intern, you will support the Distribution Manager in all Supply Chain Execution activities across the Regional Distribution Centre. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external logistics partners, contribute to process improvements, and help enhance service quality for our customers. This role combines hands‑on operational exposure with analytics, data visualization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support daily Import/Export, Warehouse, and Domestic/Regional Transport activities.
Coordinate with service providers to ensure on‑time shipment movements and compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage various warehousing and transportation tasks, including inbound, inventory control, outbound, reverse logistics, and local/regional deliveries.
Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Material Management teams to improve service delivery.
Use lean tools and global standards to solve root‑cause issues and drive productivity and service enhancements.
Build dashboards and data visualizations using Excel and Power BI to support decision‑making.
Assist in performance reviews with Logistics Service Providers and follow up on corrective actions.
Support cost management activities, including invoice checks, audits, and ensuring operational controls are in place.
Interpret and communicate global KPIs and performance reports.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields (Master’s is a plus).
Strong MS Office skills, especially Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Analytical mindset and strong mathematical aptitude.
SAP knowledge preferred.
Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working under strict deadlines.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Highly motivated, customer‑focused, with a continuous improvement mentality.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in both office and operational environments.
Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
