Job Description
LONGi Solar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our global supply chain operations. This role will play a critical part in managing international freight forwarding activities, ensuring smooth and cost-effective import of overseas materials into the United States, and driving continuous improvements across logistics processes.

Oversee North America logistics operations related to international freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inbound material flows.

Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, and other logistics partners.

Ensure compliance with U.S. customs, trade regulations, and import/export laws.

Plan and execute logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of overseas materials while optimizing costs and mitigating risks.

Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive freight rates and service levels.

Collaborate closely with supply chain and operations teams to forecast demand, align shipping schedules, and avoid supply disruptions.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency, costs, and delivery performance.

Support Sales & Operations processes by providing logistics input and ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and supply strategies.

Drive continuous improvement using performance metrics such as Proof of Delivery (POD), Net Promoter Score (NPS), and on-time delivery.

Implement best practices, automation tools, and process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and visibility.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior logistics team members.
Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.

5+ years of work experience in logistics and supply chain role, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Prior experience working at a freight forwarding company or managing international freight forwarding operations is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations, customs compliance, and international shipping practices.

Proven track record in managing overseas imports into the U.S. across multiple modes (air, ocean, ground).

Experience in the renewable energy, solar, or manufacturing industry preferred.

Familiarity with logistics performance metrics.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvements and cost savings.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365

Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
