Logistics Manager (Import & Export)

1- End-to-End Logistics Management (Export & Import)
Plan, execute, and optimize all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including exports of agricultural products and imports of machinery, equipment, fertilizers, spare parts, and operational materials.

2- Freight, Transport & 3PL Management
Select, contract, and manage freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers; negotiate rates; optimize routes and container utilization; and ensure service level compliance.

3- Customs, Government Agencies & Trade Compliance
Act as the main point of contact with authorities whenever required, ensuring smooth clearance and full regulatory compliance

4- Export Subsidy File Management
Oversee and follow up the export subsidy file, ensuring accurate documentation, timely submission, and full compliance with government subsidy program requirements to maximize financial recovery.

5- Documentation & International Trade Execution
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all logistics documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, bills of lading, airway bills, and insurance documents.

6- Cold Chain, Quality & Asset Protection
Safeguard product quality through strict cold chain control for perishable exports; monitor temperature logs; investigate logistics-related quality claims; and protect high-value equipment and machinery during transport.

7- Cost Control, Budgeting & Performance Management
Develop and manage the logistics budget; track KPIs such as OTIF, cost per shipment, transit time variance, claims rate, and container utilization; and identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.

8- Stakeholder Coordination, Risk Management & Process Improvement
Coordinate closely with Farms, Packing Houses, Sales, Quality, Finance, and External Partners; manage logistics risks (port congestion, weather, container shortages, regulatory changes); and drive continuous process improvement and digitization.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CILT, FIATA) is a strong advantage.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in logistics operations (export & import), preferably in agri-business, manufacturing, FMCG, or perishables.
  • Proven experience managing international shipments, cold chain logistics, and export documentation.
  • Hands-on experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines.
  • Experience in Middle East, Europe, or GCC export markets is a strong plus.
