Logistics Officer

Job Description: Logistics Officer at Tecnimont

Tecnimont is a leading engineering and construction company with a strong global presence, committed to providing high-quality and reliable services to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Officer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the movement of materials and equipment in and out of the company's facilities and project sites.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for project execution.
• Develop and implement logistics plans and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
• Responsible for customs clearance and documentation for international shipments.
• Oversee the storage and distribution of materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Identify and resolve logistics and supply chain issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support project execution and ensure logistics requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for handling and transporting materials and equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the engineering and construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
