Job Summary
Job Title: Logistics Officer
Department: Supply Chain Operations
Location: 2nd Industrial City, Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose:
The role is focused on
shipment tracking, logistics cost optimization, customer communication, and operational efficiency
to support the company's current and future business requirements. The successful candidate will ensure seamless logistics operations, maintain high service levels, and contribute to continuous process improvements across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate domestic and international shipments from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment tracking records, providing full visibility of shipment status and expected delivery timelines.

Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and proactively address delays, disruptions, or logistics-related issues.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Manage import and export activities, including customs clearance, transportation arrangements, and preparation of all required logistics documentation.

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize transportation and logistics costs through process improvements, route optimization, and carrier performance evaluation.

Track and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, shipment lead times, transportation costs, and documentation accuracy.

Ensure all shipping, customs, and logistics documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines.

Collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure operational requirements and customer expectations are met.

Recommend and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.

Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and international shipping practices.

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and shipments effectively in a fast-paced environment.
