Logistics Officer - Conracting & Construction

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to join our team and oversee the seamless coordination of logistics, site setups, and contractor support across construction projects. This role is integral in managing material flows, plant movement, site facilities, and ensuring compliance with HSE and regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive site logistics plans, including haul road layout, laydown areas, offloading zones, and temporary site infrastructure
• Coordinate movement of labor, materials, machinery, and equipment, ensuring separation of traffic flows and efficient access around the site
• Liaise with subcontractors to enforce compliance with company logistics procedures, traffic management, and environmental protocols
• Conduct site inductions and logistics awareness training for workers and visitors
• Facilitate site-wide logistics coordination, including weekly planning meetings and integration with PMC or main contractor teams, ensuring alignment with project schedules and emergency plans

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Preferably with 5 to 10 years of experience specifically within logistics roles in the construction or PMC sector in the UAE.
• Prior exposure to mega residential or mixed-use projects—as a part of a PMC or main contractor team is highly desirable.
• Existing professional qualifications are a strong advantage.
• Strong familiarity with UAE site logistics operations such as traffic and signage, materials and warehouse management, local authority regulations, and MS Office applications is essential.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
