Logistics Operation Coordinator

Almahri Logistics co. a leading and growing logistics company specialising in comprehensive logistics solutions in Kingdom having office in Ash Shatie business Centre, Dammam is looking for the right skilled candidate for the position below:

Logistics Operation Coordinator

Ideal candidate should have basic communication in English/Arabic and experience in logistics industry in Saudi Arabia. Should have minimum 3 years practical exposure in land transportation, custom clearance, storage and handling, freight forwarding etc. in Saudi Arabia.

Strictly from Logistics background and familiar with shipping/transportation/ industry.

Principal Accountability:

Plan and oversee logistics operations, scheduling transport, routes, and deliveries, liaising with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and carriers.

Issuing POs to the clearing agent/transporters and local suppliers for services & another administrative item.

Coordinating with In-Kingdom Transporters & other logistics services providers in getting the quotes.

Coordination with the clearing agent/transporter to get the shipments cleared immediately upon arrival at the port and have it delivered to the nominated sites/warehouse.

Maintaining clear track/record & updates and managing the documents efficiently.

Processing of supplier payment for clearing agent, Transportation and other services.

Negotiate with suppliers/carriers for best rates and service and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Monitoring of all ongoing projects/jobs and plan forecast.

Communicate effectively with suppliers, transporters, and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Work collaboratively with clients and third parties and all concerned teams.

Monitor quotation and customer performance, including tenders.

Provide clear handover information to Customer Service.

Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to track shipments, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any related issues.

Prepare necessary documentation/compliance for shipments, adhering to compliance regulations.

Produce logistics reports, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency.

Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.

Punctuality in tasks and well-behaved approach.

Notes:

Only logistics operation background candidates will be considered.

Must be available locally in Saudi Arabia with sponsorship and valid Iqama.
