Import/Export Specialist

The Musco Saudi Arabia Team has an opening for an Import/Export Specialist at our Dammam, Saudi Arabia office. The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in working with freight carriers and the manufacturing team in the development and execution of import and export operations for the KSA Manufacturing Facility. Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in import and export operations.
• Strong command of both English and Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• High level of organization, with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated to work independently
• Proficient with computers and Office365 programs, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage KSA inventory requests by creating and maintaining purchase orders for Purchasing & Receiving until shipment of the order is complete.
• Create and ensure accuracy on commercial documentation for both import and export shipments.
• Understand requirements of each country in which shipments are being exported to, and create additional documentation as required for import compliance.
• Work with other departments to plan import and export strategies for Musco.
• Maintain and build freight carrier relationships.
• Support Musco's international entities with effective communication involving supply of materials and project shipments.
• Manage and approve international freight invoices on all import and export shipments.
• Work closely with freight carriers to ensure that freight requirements for both Musco and the customer are met.
• Provide the team with freight quotes, tracking information, and other freight related inquiries.
